Each summer we hire 8 staff to run our 4 SWOP sites in Chisholm, Virginia, Mtn. Iron, and Eveleth/Gilbert. At each of the 4 sites, we hire both a Site Lead and Site Assistant to work with the 10 youth participants throughout the 6 week program. These individuals not only lead by example by modeling the SWOP spirit of community service and volunteerism, but they are also resourceful and well connected in their host communities which allows them to facilitate a variety of relationships and experiences for participants.
